Recital Reception Program

Have an upcoming recital? Let Sigma Alpha Iota help make things as stress-free as possible.

What We Will Do For You:

Pick up food or collect food deliveries (wings, pizza, etc.), with money you provide, so you don't have to.

Set up your reception, with food you provide.

Watch over your reception while you perform so that no family members or friends have to miss a note.

Clean up after your reception.

Donated menstrual products to the Amherst Survival Center
Held several Benefit Concerts, all proceeds supported the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund (a fund that supports women's rights in the workplace) and Music Drives Us (a nonprofit that grants music scholarships to local music programs).
Hosted the Duct Tape Challenge and raised $300 for Springfield High School of Science & Technology's music department
Painted the practice rooms and conference room of the Fine Arts Center at UMass Amherst
Sanded, painted, and color-coded the music stands for the UMass Music Department
Sang Christmas carols at two Amherst assisted living facilities
Collected feminine hygiene projects to donate to the Amherst Survival Center
Collected iPods and iTunes gift cards for Music and Memory, an organization dedicated to providing music therapy for those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
Collected used music books for young musicians
