So you're considering becoming an SAI Member In Training (MIT)?

 

Our membership requirements: 

 

• Demonstrate a sincere interest in music | Being a music major or minor is not required

• Complete at least one semester at the university and have completed or be currently enrolled in a music course

• Achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

• Attend weekly hour-long meeting with the Vice President of Membership (VPM)

• Pass the National Exam

• Meet the financial obligations 

  •  MIT fee: $50.00; due at time of pledging

  •  Initiation fee: $250.00; due at the time of the National Exam

    • MITs may fund raise up to half of their Initiation fee  

• Pay yearly membership dues:

  • National dues are $40.00 a year

  • Chapter membership dues are $80.00 a year

    • Chapter dues are subject to change on a yearly basis
